  • · Current status (active / dissolved)

Paid — certified extract (~500–1,000 THB)

  • · Director names and IDs
  • · Full shareholder list with % ownership
  • · Certified copy for legal/KYC use

Can be ordered in person at any DBD office, or online via dbd.go.th (Thai account required).

How to search — step by step

  1. 1

    Go to dbd.go.th

Look for "ค้นหาข้อมูลนิติบุคคล" — this means juristic person search. It's on the homepage.

  2. 2

    Enter the company name

You can search in Thai or English. Try partial name matches if the full name doesn't work.

  3. 3

    Check the status

Look for "จดทะเบียน" (registered/active) vs "เลิก" (dissolved). Dissolved companies are a red flag.

  4. 4

    Note the juristic person ID

This 13-digit number is the company's unique identifier — use it for all further searches and official documents.

  5. 5

    Check financials

Go to datawarehouse.dbd.go.th and search by juristic ID to see filed financial statements (if any).

Red flags to watch for

  • No financial statements filed for 2+ years
  • Registered capital very low vs claimed business size
  • Multiple address changes in short period
  • Status shows "dissolved" or "struck off"
  • Company age very recent for claimed track record
